Maureen Young Wins Westerner Rally for Cars & Kids Raffle

One lucky supporter is driving away with an incredible prize following the Westerner Rally for Cars & Kids Raffle. 

The winning ticket was drawn on Sunday, July 19, following the North American Pony Chuckwagon Championship at Westerner Days. Congratulations to Maureen Young, who is the proud winner of her choice of a 2026 GMC Yukon Denali or GMC Sierra, courtesy of longtime community partner Kipp Scott GMC Buick. 

The raffle raised funds in support of the Westerner Foundation, helping ensure Westerner Park continues to be a place where community comes together through agriculture, entertainment, education and events that enrich Central Alberta.

While this year’s raffle has wrapped up, the spirit of the Westerner Rally for Cars & Kids lives on through its exciting new chapter—the Central Alberta Dream Drive, taking place September 12 at Westerner Park. 

Building on the success and community impact of the Rally for Cars & Kids, the Central Alberta Dream Drive will bring together exotic, specialty and collector vehicles for a free family event featuring live entertainment, food vendors, a kid zone and the Dream Drive Rally, where children from all backgrounds experience the ride of a lifetime as co-pilots in some of the world’s most incredible vehicles.
