Grub Hub returns to the heart of the action; new rides, shows, and experiences announced.
This year marks a return to the original Midway layout, a change many longtime fairgoers will recognize and welcome. The Grub Hub, known for its mix of classic fair food and diverse food truck flavours, is officially back in the heart of the action — making it easier than ever to grab a bite between rides, shows, or games.
Westerner Park grounds open daily for parking at 11:30 AM, with gate access beginning at 12:00 PM. Tickets are available for purchase at the entrance to the Midway/Westerner Days. The grounds close each night at midnight.
In another exciting update, the Beer Gardens are moving to a spacious grassy field beside the racetrack. With more room to relax, a great view of nearby attractions, and access to live music and entertainment, it’s the perfect place to recharge and soak in the summer atmosphere.
You asked, we listened. This year brings three brand-new Midway attractions guaranteed to thrill and delight:
The Khaos: A high-intensity ride that spins, tilts, and twists, delivering a chaotic but controlled adrenaline rush for thrill-seekers.
The Freakout: A swinging, soaring pendulum ride that blends height, speed, and suspense.
The Family Dragon Coaster: A gentle rollercoaster ride designed with families in mind, featuring fun dips, twists, and a fire-breathing dragon that kids will love.
Returning favourites will also be on-site, along with classic carnival games, beloved attractions, and vendor stalls lining the Midway for a fully immersive, nostalgic fair experience.
But the fun doesn’t stop with the rides. High-impact shows and specialty attractions will keep the excitement going all day long. The monster trucks are roaring back into town, with daily exhibitions packed with noise, power, and jaw-dropping stunts. Also performing daily are professional lumberjacks, wowing the crowd with axe throwing, log rolling, chainsaw carving, and more. It’s a fast-paced, high-skill show that’s equal parts precision, power, and it’s a crowd favourite year after year.
And as the sun sets, the energy doesn’t fade fireworks will light up the sky every night at dark, offering guests a vibrant, high-flying finale to the day’s festivities.
Families, thrill-seekers, and fair lovers alike will find something to love at this year’s Midway, whether it’s the fresh layout, exciting new attractions, or the simple joy of a sunny afternoon at the fair.
