RCMP Musical Ride Gallops into Westerner Days 2025

Westerner Park is proud to announce that the world-renowned RCMP Musical Ride will be featured during Westerner Days Fair & Exposition, happening July 16–20, 2025. This iconic Canadian experience is included with admission to the fair and will be taking place in the Westerner Park Centrium. Westerner Days is excited to bring this unforgettable performance to our fairgrounds, offering families and guests the rare opportunity to witness the pageantry and precision of the RCMP right here in Central Alberta.

Performance Schedule
Each Musical Ride performance is preceded by a thrilling RCMP Police Dog Service demonstration, followed by the Musical Ride itself, with opportunities for a meet-and-greet with the riders afterward.
Showtimes:
- Friday, July 18 at 2:00 p.m.
- Saturday, July 19 at 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
- Sunday, July 20 at 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
The RCMP Musical Ride showcases 20 riders and horses, all of whom are serving police officers. Set to music, their intricate drills and formations require exceptional control, timing, and teamwork. This is a powerful performance that is sure to leave viewers with unforgettable memories.
Each year from May to October, the RCMP Musical Ride travels Canada, visiting many communities and rotating through provinces on a four-year cycle to ensure as many Canadians as possible can experience it. This year, Westerner Days is proud to be one of the selected hosts, and we can’t wait for fairgoers to experience this Canadian tradition.
More than just a performance, the Musical Ride enhances the spirit of community celebration, supporting front-line police operations while helping to foster relationships, inspire future recruits, and showcase the RCMP’s image both nationally and internationally.
