Christmas Bazaar a Success Despite Cold Weather Conditions!

In spite of cold weather conditions, Westerner Park’s 24th annual Christmas Bazaar was a huge success! The event was hosted by Westerner Park on Saturday, December 5th at the Prairie Pavilion.

The cold weather didn't stop central Albertans from showing their generosity this holiday season. In lieu of admission, non-perishable food and cash donations were accepted by the Red Deer Food Bank and cash donations were accepted by the Red Deer Christmas Bureau. The Red Deer Food Bank received $110 in cash donations and 875 lbs of food and the Red Deer Christmas Bureau received $2,100 in cash!

Patrons from Red Deer, central Alberta and beyond attended the festive event along with a total of 125 exhibitors. Products on display ranged from baked goods, home décor, pet pampering products, spa and bath product, fashion accessories among much more!

An Edmonton-based Metal Artist exhibitor, Paragon of Design by Skrocki, was also onsite to display their collection at the event and will be showcasing their designs at the upcoming 67th Golden Globe Awards Red Carpet Style Lounge in January 2010.

Westerner Park’s Christmas Bazaar is organized as a community contribution event and is produced by the Westerner Park staff.
